How a JoomSlot purchase went from a points box to a BTCPay invoice
Ten game points cost 0.0001 BTC at the 2021 default rate. The purchase went through a BTCPay invoice, and the points landed once the payment was confirmed.
Archived product JoomSlot is no longer offered. Downloads, API keys, the game server and support are gone, so this page describes how version 1.0 worked in 2021.
Ten game points, 0.00010000 BTC. That's the example in the old manual's confirmation screen, at the default 2021 rate of 100,000 points to one bitcoin. JoomSlot is retired and nothing in this flow works now; here's how it went when it did.
From the form to the invoice
A logged-in member opened Purchase from the JoomSlot menu, typed the number of game points and ticked kennie club as the payment method. The form worked out the Bitcoin amount itself.
Submit led to the confirmation page in the picture at the top, with a Reset button and Confirm and pay. Confirming handed you over to a BTCPay invoice: a white card with a green "Awaiting Payment..." bar, a countdown (14:38 left in the screenshot), the amount, and a QR code to scan with a wallet app. There's also a Copy tab for the address and an Open in wallet button, plus BTCPay's recommended fee (10.051 sat/byte that day).
When the points arrived
The points went onto the player's game ID automatically once BTCPay reported the payment through its webhook. How soon that happened was a store setting. The manual said the Kennie.club store waited for one confirmation and that points usually showed up in a minute or two; a store set to six confirmations would take 30 minutes or more. Bitcoin blocks come roughly every ten minutes, so I'd treat "a minute or two" as optimistic.

A word on what this was
Players were sending Bitcoin to a website owner in exchange for betting credit. Selling that credit without a gaming licence is illegal in Malaysia and most other countries, and Bitcoin payments can't be reversed. If the site vanished, so did the money.

Questions people asked
How long did it take for points to arrive after paying?
It depended on the BTCPay store's setting. The old manual said Kennie.club waited for one confirmation, usually a minute or two in its words, while a store set to six confirmations could take more than 30 minutes.
Can I still buy JoomSlot credit?
No. The component is retired, the Kennie.club BTCPay server is offline and no JoomSlot site I know of still takes payments. Be wary of any site that claims otherwise.
