The JoomSlot admin screens, from dashboard totals to game logs

Four coloured boxes open the JoomSlot back end: Total Gamepoints (1000000.0000 in the screenshot), Total Players (2), Total Collection (0.00000000 BTC) and Total Added Points (0). Gamepoints was the credit on the webmaster's own account with the game server, the stock you could sell to players. Everything else lived in a side menu of seven items under Components > JoomSlot. The product is retired and nothing here connects to anything now; this is the old manual, rewritten.

One thing first. These screens were built for selling game credit and paying out winnings. Doing that from a website without a gaming licence is illegal in Malaysia and most other countries, and the component didn't change that.

Players and manual orders

Players listed every account with username, e-mail, status, registration date, the Joomla user ID and a GpId (the player's ID on the game server). Next to each name were two links, Edit user info and Add Game Point.

Add Game Point opened an Order form. It was meant for when a payment went through but the points didn't arrive. You picked the user, filled in Gamepoints, Amount, Transactionid, Paymentstatus and a description, and ticked Add Game Points so saving would actually credit the account. Leave the box unticked and you'd only saved a record; Pointsstatus stays at "Not Added".

Orders was the list of all purchases. Normally points were added automatically when BTCPay confirmed a payment through the webhook; the manual form above was the fallback for failures. How that webhook was set up is in the BTCPay plugin guide.

Withdrawals

This is the screen that mattered most, and the one the old page was most careful about. Payouts were manual "due to security concern". The process was:

1. Check the request in Withdrawals and note its ID.
2. Check the player's game logs to see the win was real.
3. Log in to the BTCPay server (Kennie.club, the hosted one the product used, or your own), open Pull Payments, find the withdrawal and pay it.
4. Come back and set the status by hand.

So a player's money depended entirely on the site owner doing steps 3 and 4. The withdrawal guide looks at this from the player's side.

Game Data, Pay Data and balances

Game Data was a per-spin log. The sample rows are all MysticSecretsGTM at a bet of 0.1000, with columns for balance, win, In Game (0.0900), In JPG (0.0055), Profit (0.0045) and denomination. Read across, each 0.10 bet seems to be split between the game, a jackpot pool and the operator, though the manual never explained the columns.

Pay Data listed money in and out per player (the demo shows four top-ups of 1000.0000 on 23 August 2021), and Players Balance showed each player's balance, last visit and GpId.
